Cette œuvre est l’entrelacement des fils et des histoires des femmes de ma famille. La base de cette œuvre est un couvre-lit crocheté par ma grand-mère à ma naissance. À travers cette œuvre, je souhaite ouvrir une conversation avec mes ancêtres en les invitant à créer avec moi une nouvelle trame de notre histoire dans l’art d’aujourd’hui. Cette pièce prend une autre dimension dans l’espace.

This work is the interweaving of threads and the stories of the women in my family. The foundation of this work is a quilt crocheted by my grandmother at my birth. Through this piece, I wish to open a conversation with my ancestors, inviting them to create a new fabric of our history in today’s art. This piece takes on another dimension in Space.
